World Tai Chi & Qigong Day - Join us at the Severna Park Community Center as we celebrate this world-wide event with tai chi & qigong demos and mini-workshops. We will be outside next to Boone Station Hall (by the picnic tables). If it rains, we will be inside the SP Community Center's gym.

Free Tai Chi Classes:
We are offering both a morning and an evening class. They are suitable for all levels of fitness. There will be a brief water/bathroom break midway through the classes. Wear clothing suitable for movement, such as athletic pants and a t-shirt.

Wednesday, April 30 (10:30-11:30am) - Free Introductory Tai Chi Class. Located at the Severna Park Community Center (623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD). Try a full tai chi class and ask questions. Morning class. Register here.

Thursday, May 1 (7:15-8:00pm) - Free Introductory Tai Chi Class. Located at the Jing Ying Institute of Kung & Tai Chi (1195 B&A BLvd, Arnold). Directions here.
Discover the Coiling Snake Energy of Tai Chi.
In celebration of World Tai Chi Day AND Year of the Snake, we will focus on silk reeling exercises and its many benefits.
